Ms. Rave spent the last 13 years working as a daily newsaper journalist in Idaho, Utah, Nebraska and Montana. She's a 2004 Harvard University Nieman Fellow and an opinion writer who's won first-place awards from the Society of Professional Journalist-Pacific Northwest, Montana Newsaper Association, Native American Journalists Association as well as column writing honors from Columbia University in New York. She's currently a graduate student at the University of Montana where she is working on a book about Elouise Cobell, an Indian land reform leader from the Blackfeet Nation in Montana.
